We love to Celebrate! Birthdays, Weddings, Book Clubs, Baby Showers, Tea Parties, Honeymoons, Babymoons, Anniversaries, Family Reunions, Girlfriend Getaways, Holiday Parties and Tours!

Throughout the year Quartermain House shares in Celebrations. Each season, holiday and special event begins at the front door with a wreath marking the occasion. Inside decorative touches add a festive flair. We have hosted book clubs in the Library, tea parties and baby showers in the Parlor, travel writers during Harvest Jazz and Blues, the Alexander Athletic Club for UNB Homecoming. In November two very special weddings took place and more to come this year. With our intimate setting of two guest rooms families and friends can book the entire place to stay and host a special event. In the afternoons we book tea parties and book clubs. At present inside we can accommodate a group of family and/or friends of 10 or less and outside a group of 20.

Our first year was a  full one, enjoy a look at some of the special events we have hosted. More exciting events ahead for 2022!

IODE Evergreen Tour

Quartermain House was one of four elegant homes on the 2012 tour.
Each year as a charitable fund raiser four unique homes in the city
are decorated and open their doors to over three hundred visitors
for the evening. This event has marked the beginning of the holiday
season for almost thirty years in picturesque Fredericton, NB.

Twinkling lights, fragrant evergreens, holiday music
and hot apple cider greeted the guests
as they toured the main and upper floors of Quartermain House.
